Live blackjack by XProGaming is a seven-seat game based on classic rules and enabling players to place Bet Behind stakes. The video is broadcasted from a professional studio designed to resemble a real brick-and-mortar casino, and the tables are run by well-trained dealers who speak fluent English and respond properly to players’ messages sent via an integrated chat window.

The minimum table limit normally starts at $1 but may vary depending on the online casino you are playing at. The video is delivered in a high-definition quality by default, but players can choose between the Hi and Lo quality settings to customize the stream to an actual connection rate. The size of the streaming window is shrunk or enlarged automatically, depending on the connection quality. By clicking respective buttons, players can view results of the latest round, activate/hide the chat box or maximize the video to a full-screen mode. The chips are available in several denominations to choose from.

If you need to get familiar with the blackjack rules, you should press the Game Rules button. You are given 10 second to make a betting decision, and if the time expires with no action from you, the hand will automatically Stand. Important: after placing the chips on the table, you must click on the green arrow to confirm your bet; otherwise, the bet will not count.

In the Information window at the top left corner you can expect to see the round ID, the game name and the dealer’s name (the dealers take turns about every 20 minutes). By using the tipping option, you can tip the dealer but be careful though as this action cannot be undone.

Basic blackjack rules

The most important rules applied in live blackjack by XProGaming are:

  • you may take multiple seats at the table and get dealt up to seven hands at a time;
  • the game is played with six standard 52-card decks in the shoe;
  • dealer stands on all 17’s;
  • blackjack pays 3:2;
  • if the dealer’s face-up card is an Ace, you are offered an insurance that costs 50% of your original bet. The insurance is paid at odds of 2 to 1;
  • split of any pair is allowed up to three times, except for a pair of Aces that are split once;
  • a single double down after split;
  • if your hand and dealer’s hand tie, your original bet is refunded.

Even Money

If you have a blackjack hand (Ace plus a 10-value card) and the dealer has an Ace, you are offered the Even Money option. Taking the Even Money option, you will be protected from a tie in case the dealer has a blackjack. Further to this, you will have a guaranteed 1 to 1 payout, regardless of the dealer’s cards.

Bet Behind

You may bet behind the seated players while waiting for an available seat. When betting behind, you follow the decisions made by the main player; if the main player chooses, for example, to Double Down, then a corresponding amount is also deducted from your balance. You are allowed to bet behind as many seated players as you wish, no matter if you are a seated player yourself or waiting to join the table.
